 Y KANT TORI READ
« Thread Started on Apr 15, 2007, 5:42pm »

Hands up those who adore this album. The eighties are by far my favourite musical era: so distinct and deliciously ludicrous. So throw Tori in there and I'm more than in. ;D

Seriously though, I think the songwriting on that album is absolutely wonderful. I was really pleased to read that Tori is thinking of playing songs from there on this tour. On The Boundary is absolutely gorgeous. Her voice is great on that album too: it has the softness of the earlier solo albums but somehow there's more maturity there. She sounds less 'lost' (as she quite often does on LE/UTP/BFP). Oh, I just love it. I have a rarely-played promo LP of it and on lonely days I play it really loudly on my stereo. Wonderful.

yes we have all been robbed of song
and nightingales who throw their arms up
when is enough enough?

I like this album as well. What is your favorite song off it? I like "On The Boundary" and "Etienne"

I think On The Boundary is my favourite. So much emotion there. So much anguish.

It's VERY Bonnie Tyler. Absolutely gorgeous.
